Chris tries to film everything ("I'm making a movie.") and is what I would call a dangerous geek. Dorky, can't get a girl, and drives around with a shotgun in back of his car in case he "wants to shoot someone". If memory serves it looked like it may have been shot in a way where the actor portraying the rapist may never even have been on top of her. I could be mistaken on that point, but that was my impression. There were shots of her feet, hands and of course her face, and the scene was very br

The main story involves Reggie (played by Nick Cannon) becoming obsessed with tracking down and killing the man who raped and beat on his younger sister Sabrina (played by Regine Nehy). Due to the start of the film, we already know what will happen to him and for me, that ruined the movie quite a bit. Reggie, who does not seem to be a gangster-type, surprises us with his attitude and commitment in finding a gun and setting out with his friends to kill the rapist ASAP. The HFPA's own Best Drama selections generally aren't too surprising (with recent winners including Boyhood and 12 Years a Slave ) and McCarthy's film boasts that perfect combination of topical subject matter and critical darling status that suggests it will take home the big prize (and maybe then some) at the Golden Glo

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association intends to honor the best of the best in film and television alike during the upcoming 73rd Golden Globes Awards Ceremony, though the current awards season race is pretty open when it comes to movies.
