Head over to Watchmen Comic Movie if you want to read Pt. 1 of the Dave Gibbons interview in its entirety, then head back here to let us know if Gibbons' testimony is a glowing enough endorsement for you to have your butt firmly planted in a theater seat when Watchmen (hopefully) hits theaters on March 6, 2009. 'Til then we'll keep our ears the ground and post Pt. 2 of the Gibbons' interview as soon as it hits the

I'm surprised that the "ultimate" cut only runs 15 minutes longer than the director's cut. Is the stand-alone version of Tales of The Black Freighter that is being released on March 24, 2009 , going to feature scenes that WON'T be included in the "ultimate cut" Watchmen DVD/Blu-ray? It certainly seems like it. Damn, that means I'll have to watch Tales of The Black Freighter if I want to get the whole Watchmen experience. Slick move, Warner Bros. Slick move indee

So the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con is officially over - today feels like coming down from a "high." Covering the Con is always a whirlwind, but at least this year (my second covering it) I felt like a was a bit more in cont

The nominees have been announced for the fourth annual Scream Awards, held every year by Spike TV . The decisively more "fan-friendly" award ceremony (compared to the Oscars) honors films from the sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic-book genres of movies, TV shows and comic books. The awards are described as, "the first and only global event of its kind," to honor those gen

We also had the chance to see the long awaited Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , the latest Pixar flick Wall-E , Will Smith as a superhero movie games tips|https://Superheromoviespot.com/ in Hancock , Angelina Jolie as an assassin in Wanted , Hellboy II: The Golden Army . To keep us laughing we had Tropic Thunder , The Pineapple Express (which I haven't seen) and Get Sma

The Dark Knight was this summer's box office juggernaut, and no doubt will be the year's biggest earner. The big surprise of the summer (and the film that kicked it all off) is Iron Man , which came in second and actually beat Indy 4 in the US! That speaks to both how great Iron Man was and how poor an addition the latest Indiana Jones movie was to the original tril

Enduring the almost literally ear splitting (due to the almost non-stop screaming of female fans) Twilight panel, having to listen to questions from the audience like "boxers or briefs," and watching some of the castmembers totally work the audience with their "yeah I know I'm hot" attit

Alan doesn’t have a problem with me doing that...when I was doing my Watching the Watchmen book, I did ask him a few questions...he didn’t have a problem with that. But at a later stage, he said to me during one of our phone conversations...that he didn’t want to have any further conversations with me about Watchm

Although some of the awards are truly suspect (how the hell The Spirit got nominated for ANYTHING is beyond me), I still like the overall celebration of the type of sci-fi, fantasy, comic book and horror films we here at Screen Rant revel in :) Although I won't go into a specific rundown of who I think should win, I'd like to throw my opinion in the ring for a few of t
